Dr Ignacio Arganda-Carreras wins the RMS Award for Data Analysis in Imaging (DAIM)

We are very pleased to share that Dr Ignacio Arganda-Carreras has been announced as the winner of the RMS Award for Data Analysis in Imaging (DAIM) by the Royal Microscopical Society (RMS).
This recognition highlights Ignacio’s long-standing contributions to the bioimage analysis community, including his foundational role in Fiji and his work on open-source computer vision and machine learning methods for biomedical imaging.
The RMS announcement also recognizes his impact on training researchers in AI for bioimage analysis, and the broad adoption of the tools developed by our group.
