Bin Wang is a PhD student at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), working under the supervision of Prof. Fadi Dornaika. His research focuses on deep metric learning for computer vision, exploring representation learning and similarity-based methods for visual recognition tasks. He is expected to defend by early 2027.

Prior to his doctoral studies, Bin earned an MSc in Computer Science from Henan University (2022) and a BSc in Computer Science from Nanyang Institute of Technology (2019), both in China.

His recent work has been published in Expert Systems with Applications (ESWA) and the International Conference on Pattern Recognition (ICPR).
